RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
St Catherine’s is one of three primary schools in the Parish of St Michael's. We believe that the development of a child's faith is an ongoing journey which begins at home and is supported by the school and parish.
Our Religious Education Program is based on the Sale Diocesan Guidelines – "To Live in Christ Jesus". Whilst the Sacramental Program is part of the Prep to Year 6 curriculum, specific emphasis is given in Year 3 to the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Year 4 to the Sacrament of the Eucharist and Year 6 to the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Many opportunities are available for parents and families to join in liturgical celebrations held at various times throughout the school year.
At St Catherine’s we encourage and develop a strong link between the family, the school and the parish.
